What type of photos can be turned into oil paintings?

Any! The good news for you is that we can turn any of your photos into paintings. The only factor is the quality of the photo you give us. It is extremely rare that a photo's quality is not good enough to be painted so as long as our artists can clearly see the right details in your photo we will have it painted.

We often make the oil paintings of people, animals, houses, cars, sporting teams, scenery, weddings, classical reproductions etc. However, we are willing to paint whatever you wish to be a painting.

Can you combine images from more than one photo to make one painting?

Absolutely, It is quite common that people have a great family photo that is spoilt by one child looking away etc. You can send us several photos and have the people included into one beautiful painting.

In what form does the painting arrive?

Your hand painted oil painting will arrive either stretched and ready to be hung on the wall or rolled in a protective tube depending on what option you choose. We also can have them framed at extra cost. Very large paintings will be rolled and placed inside a protective tube.

How do i send my photo to you?

There are many options for sending us your photo; however the easiest is for you to upload your photo directly to our website. Sending your photo by mail is also available.

What if i have paid for my painting, received it and don't like it?

Most people see their painting and love it immediately, however we make sure you love it with our 'Pre Purchase Guarantee', which means that before you have bought your painting we will email you a photo of the completed painting and ask for your approval, at this point you may choose some modifications and we will paint it again at no extra cost then email you with a photo once again. We are willing to continue this process until you are happy with the artwork as long as your modifications don't stray from youroriginal agreed vision of the painting.

What can i do to ensure i will get the best painting out of my photo?

The key thing is that the photo is a true and exact portrayal of the subject matter that you feel looks good in that photo. If you feel the person or object doesn't look right in the photo then they will not look right in the painting.

The other things are: photo quality and instructions; The more information you give us the better the painting will look, such as: 'remove the clothesline from the background' or 'forget the background and just make it a plain sky blue'

How long does it take to receive my painting?

Once you have ordered a painting it only takes 21 working days to receive it, however express orders can be made at a cost. Modifications will extend this time by 2-3 days. However long you take to review the photo we send you is not included in this timeframe.
